WITH GAINJET Asked why the company is headquartered in Greece, the
group’s CEO Captain Ramsey Shaban explains: “While
looking at different options where to establish GainJet,
it was obvious that Greece was the right choice for our
investment. We quickly realized that Greece had many
advantages to offer us.
Driven by the vision of cultivating Firstly, Greece’s strategic location as an EU country
centrally located within our three core markets: Europe,
private aviation and setting Africa, and the Middle East, allows us to conveniently
serve our customers in these regions. Secondly, the large
Athens Riviera as a strong pool of heavily skilled aviation professionals in Greece
gave us confidence that the needed high-level of service
standards would be met and continuously improved. With
destination in its network, that, Greece became our home.”

But while it operates a highly successful and efficient
fleet, GainJet is determined not to stand still in the ever-
changing aviation sector.
Over its many years of operation, the Group has diversified
its portfolio, expanding from its core business of private
jet travel. In 2006, the company primarily operated super
mid-size jets like the Gulfstream G200 with a few larger
ones like its VIP MD87 and Gulfstream G450 and G550.
However, during the 2008 global financial recession,
the market shifted dramatically, and the group adapted
its strategy, adding more large VIP aircraft including
additional Gulfstream G550s and G450s, several VIP
Boeing 737s (BBJs), and a VIP Boeing 757 – which included
a bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
In 2015, the group established its Air Ambulance service
adding dedicated Bombardier Challenger 604 aircraft
which are specially equipped with state-of-the-art stretcher
systems. Since then, the group has added 2 more specially
equipped medical Challenger 605 aircraft expanding its Air
Ambulance service to establish bases in Kuwait and Greece

are ready 24/7 to meet patients’ travel needs anytime.
Throughout its history, the company has also worked to
broaden its product line for its aircraft management service.

our in-house capabilities allows us to be further involved
in the maintenance process ensuring top quality results.
Today, in addition to its privately managed aircraft, the
company operates a diverse fleet of private jets available for
charter primarily focused on the super mid-size and large
cabin jets including several Gulfstream G650/ERs, G550s,
Bombardier Challenger 605s and others, all of which have
inter-continental range making long-range travel easy.
“We’ve always believed that our product line must include
a diverse fleet to ensure the most suitable aircraft for our
customer’s requirements. The selection of top-tier large
or ultra-long-range jets fits with our customers’ needs, and
hence we believe that this is the most suitable operation for
the top business jets we operate,” explains Mr. Roussos.
Up next, the company will shortly be taking delivery of
the latest Gulfstream aircraft a G700, which is the largest
Gulfstream to ever be manufactured and with an impressive
ultra-long range of 7,750 NM. 
