Are you a true yoga devotee? Just hop on a plane to Mykonos, where the Myconian Ambassador Hotel will welcome you on a journey of self-
discovery by offering a full range of group sessions, either indoors or outdoors, such as the Secret Sunrise yoga or yoga by the full-moon, as well
as private sunset sessions combined with meditation.
As of 2017, dedicated Yoga Retreats with world-class teachers will be hosted at the Ambassador Hotel. Get ready for the 24 Sep. – 1 Oct. 2017 yoga
meetings with the Greek teacher Eleni Malakou, the founder of @Think White Yoga and Well-being@.
Eleni is a qualified Yoga instructor and a teacher of anatomy and kinesiology for Yoga and Pilates Teacher Trainings. In addition, she is also a
physical therapist trained in PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), Bobath Therapy and the Mulligan Concept (mobilization with
movement). Her teaching approach blends Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Yin yoga traditions into a dynamic combination of alignment-based,
therapeutic and creative exercises. Sessions are designed for all levels, offering modifications for beginners and greater challenges for advanced students.
Imagine a 90-minute morning yoga class held in the breathtakingly beautiful setting of Scorpios, situated a 10-minute walk from the Ambassador
Hotel along a scenic coastal path. And in the evening, a 1-hour relaxing class focusing on alignment, pranayama, restoration and yoga Nidra.
Eleni is at our disposal during the retreat for in-depth tuition. After ten years of busy and exciting urban living, she moved to Mykonos in search
of a rewarding way of life and simple pleasures. She now lives on this island of pure light, golden beaches and deep blue magical water with her
husband and son, practising what she preaches in terms of lifestyle, along with yoga and physiotherapy. D.S.
pILATES STATE of MIND
Make the best of the Ambassador’s world-class fitness facilities,
which includes a state-of-the-art Pilates Studio, by participating
in tailor-made programmes suited even to those of you that have
never tried this exercise method before! A friendly and experienced
staff will guide you through this regenerating experience, by
encouraging beginners and by gently adjusting those with an
established practice. Your usual tangle of thoughts and stress-
related pains will vanish in just a few 55-minute sessions, while
your whole body will feel “centred” and re-aligned.
Each class is based on the original six Pilates principles: concentration,
control, centre, flow, precision and breathing. This method helps
improve flexibility and endurance in the entire body; with a special
focus on posture, breathing, core strength, coordination and balance.
