 The Happy

 Platform

 A two-storey home on Panagia

 Panachra Square called Dio
Horia hosts both works of art
and artists who live and create
 inspired by the island.

this is the thirD summer that Dio
horia, a dynamic contemporary art and
culture platform, is swimming in the visual
art scene’s deep end in Mykonos town,
attracting art lovers from all over the world.
A mix of art exhibitions, residencies, events,
 publications and pop-up bookstores give
 occasion to discussions, experimentation,
creativity and the exchange of knowledge –
which is exactly what Marina Vranopoulou
had in mind in 2015 when she created this
venue for original visual art dialogue in the
heart of the island. the name Dio horia is
inspired by the title of a book by distinguished
 Greek architect Aris Konstantinidis, “Dio
horia sti Mykonos”. the word “horia” has
two meanings. it is simultaneously a hamlet
and a place; a place where the international
and Greek visual art scene dances the dance
of creativity. this year, the season kicked off
with a group exhibition by 16 artists curated
by the creator of Dio horia herself. the
exhibition has its own story to tell, inspired
by that small speck of land on the map, Delos.
