Tasos Almpanis
Executive Chef of the Myconian IMPERIAL Leading Hotels
of the World
“This year, the Imperial’s Celebrities restaurant has chosen
to focus on treasures from the deep, with 90% of our dishes
emphasizing sea food. Naturally, there are also delicious meat
and vegetarian dishes”, explains Tasos Almpanis, who lends his
“signature” to an excellent sea bass with black risotto, vegetables
and lobster sauce. He also recommends that customers try the
Aegean lobsters caught by local fishermen between Mykonos and
Tinos. He insists that the freshness and actual flavour of seafood
should not be overwhelmed by displays of culinary virtuosity for
their own sake. When it comes to honouring the subtle quality
Imperial of fresh fish, he is of like mind with the expert Asian chef in
charge of the Sishu Bar’s menu.
