 Archaeologist and anthropologist Jerolyn Morrison and
 POTTERY TO   her Minoan Tastes team provide local and international
 visitors with a unique experience, allowing them to
 embrace the customs and flavours of ancient Crete.

 Jerolyn Morrison’s studies in archaeology and

 anthropology at the Fulbright Institute put her on

 the path to becoming an integral part of Minoan
 culture and cuisine in the modern era. She opens
 up about her inspiring career and passion.




















  Alabama native Jerolyn
 Morrison embarked on a transformative
 journey in Crete in 1997. Initially drawn to
 archaeological pottery work, she went on
 to pursue a master's and a doctorate in
 anthropology and archaeology respec-
 tively before settling in Ierapetra, where
 she immersed herself in Minoan gastron-
 omy. Courage and creativity propelled   THE ART OF WEAVING RE-INVENTED

 pivotal member of the Minoan Tastes
