                                           After 19 years in the culinary industry, including
 SAVOURING CRETE             six Michelin-starred restaurants, Pavlos Kyriakis revamped the
                             menu of Cretamos, the gastronomic jewel of Royal Senses Re-
                             sort & Spa, for the second year. While putting a delightful spin on
 Royal Senses Resort & Spa called on Chef Pavlos Kyriakis,
                             Cretan fine dining, the collaboration made a lasting impression
 awarded a Toque d' Or and Michelin star, to create a new   on him, the Royal Senses team, and customers alike. The Athens-
                             based Athinorama Magazine even awarded Cretamos as a Top

                             How would you describe your creative journey as a chef during your

                             collaboration at Cretamos?
                             A very nice and creative journey, as working with the Cretamos
                             team allowed me to better understand Cretan cuisine and prod-
                             ucts and incorporate them into my recipes and dishes.
                             How did you feel upon entering the kitchens of Royal Senses for the
                             first time?
                             Seeing the kitchen and its staff, I felt confident that together we
                             could create and offer our guests an unforgettable experience.
                             What comment have you heard from visitors about the menu of Cre-
                             tamos that will stay with you?
                             One of the nicest comments I heard from a customer was that
                             they would come back to Crete and Cretamos for the food.
                             What common values and goals do you have with the people of
                             Numo Hotels & Resorts that have brought you together?
                             We share the same vision to create a unique experience and a
                             place that will become a must-see destination for its hospitality
                             and food.
                             Can you reveal a significant personal moment that stands out from
                             your collaboration in Crete?
                             I will emphasise how hospitable the hotel owners are, as well as
                             how humble and close they are with their staff. And this is be-
                             cause I can't choose just one personal moment.
